InsiderInsights.com: Insider Trading Media Mentions and Appearances

Haven't heard of us?! Where have YOU been?

We've been publishing our free Daily Insider Ratings Round-Up articles through SeekingAlpha.com for years now. And professionals likely know us through their Bloomberg Terminals at {ININ } & {APPS ININ } or access via ResearchPool or RSRCHX.

But we've been around a while, and for over a decade starting in 2001, InsiderInsights.com supplied regular data tables and columns to TheStreet.com and its sister sites, RealMoney and RealMoneyPro. Later, we did the same through the old Minyanville.com. All those articles were also commonly featured on Yahoo!Finance as well.

The whole model of distributing financial data and research has changed, however, towards generating page views over professional contributors. And no where has the democratization of financial content led to its mediocritization than with all the free "insider" articles that now literally litter the Internet. Even those generated by household names in the biz are embarrassingly light on actual insider analysis. And since they highlight too many stocks with insider activity that is actually insignificant, the stocks don't act like readers expect them to--and investors start to doubt that the data is worth using.

To combat the crap, and educate investors on what they should be focused on when using insider data in their investing process, we've developed some free offerings ourselves, and are delivering them through SeekingAlpha.com.

But if you haven't tripped over our own stuff in the ether, surely you must have seen us mentioned in the financial press sometime in the past decades. Below is a partial list of media mentions and appearances in the financial press. The list is only partial because, frankly, logging these references and tooting our horn has not been our priority--much to the disgust of the marketing guys. Compiling the list now is heavily reliant on using different search engines. For this reason, quotes in smaller periodicals are under represented.
